1 Day Refresher or Distance Learning First Aid Course
First Aid (previously known as Senior First Aid)
HLTFA301B Apply First Aid: 1 Day course (8.5 hours)
This course prepares you to provide first aid response;
- life support and
- management of casualties, the incident and other first aiders, until the arrival of medical or other assistance.
This course incorporates the content of Perform CPR and Provide Basic Emergency Life Support.
Prerequisites:
- have previously completed an accredited First Aid Course.
- or be the holder of a current SLSA Bronze Medallion or Surf Rescue Certificate
- or willing to complete a Distance Learning Workbook prior to attending the course (duration for workbook approx 4-8 hours).
Renewal required every 3 years (renew Perform CPR competencies annually).
$155 per person for non SLSSA members
$75 per person for SLSSA members (members registrations will be confirmed).
Please note: These courses are full day programs with participants required to be in attendance for the full duration of the course.
