One Day First Aid Course
Apply First Aid (previously known as Senior First Aid)
HLTFA301B Apply First Aid: One Day course (8.5 hours)
This course prepares you to provide
· first aid response
· life support, and
· management of casualties, the incident and other first aiders
until the arrival of medical or other assistance
This course incorporates the content of Perform CPR and Provide Basic Emergency Life Support.
Apply First Aid renewal required every three years (Perform CPR renewal required annually).
$155 per person for general public, $75 per person for Surf Life Saving members
Please note: This course is a full day program, and participants are required to attend the full day
Course Prerequisites
For new participants or for those whose First Aid qualification has expired:
- completion of a workbook prior to attending the course (duration for workbook approximately 4-8 hours).
For people who hold a current First Aid qualification:
- provide a copy of your Statement of Attainment if your qualification was issued by a Registered Training Organisation other than SLSSA
